About the Author

Suzanne Cronin is a natural-born systems thinker with 30 years in nursing. She writes calm, practical guides for living well through natural disasters, shaped by her experience of the Lismore floods. Suzanne lives on the coast of New South Wales with her Havanese dog, Pippin. A Long Way, Slowly is her umbrella project: clear, evidence-led resources that favour quiet, workable systems over drama. Current work includes The Gentlewoman’s Guide to Calm in a Natural Disaster, its spiral Companion, and a forthcoming thesis-style case for amphibious homes on Australia’s floodplains.
